Question How to remove a new age dash pocket?

Guys I'm assuming this is what I have heard referred to as a Forester Pocket... The question is quite simple how do I remove it from under the radio ?

I don't know anything about the new age dash at all so very reluctant to go tugging away at anything unless I know how it comes apart.

Thanks
Simon

You need to pull of the facia around the stereo with the heater controls on, It just needs a pull as its on plastic tabs, There will be screws behind just undo them and it will slide out

remove the section around the gearstick by pulling forward, then disconnect cig lighter wires and remove,
then you will see 2 screws under the heater controls, undo these and pull forward and remove the fascia, disconnect heater wires etc.
the you will see the screws that hold in pocket.

Brilliant info thanks gents and a picturial guide I was not expecting that, great that looks quite easy now, I've got a data monitor to go in that gap. Now I'm assuming going up one panel again the final silver segment around the vents just pulls out as well? May be a good time to loose the silver finish when I take it all apart.
