I did this a while ago and boost was a lot better.

You can find the Boost Solenoid located on the driverside suspension strut area of the engine bay. It is about 3" long cylinder, gold or silver in colour, it will have pipes coming off it from turbo and to actuator (it was in mine as it was a 2 port one!) if yours is three port there will be another pipe going somewhere too!

If you take the pipes off it (note the way round they go) and plug the two green connectors together under the dash. Please note DO NOT TURN THE ENGINE ON JUST LEAVE ON FULL IGNITION.

The two green connectors are under the steering colum and when plugged together make the solenoid go through an opening and closing test sequence, spraying the carb cleaner in the solenoid while it goes through it's sequence will get it nice and clean.

Stray the carb cleaner through the top hole whilst the car goes through the sequence for best results.

I wrapped mine in a towel so that it didnt spray the carb cleaner all over my engine and paintwork
