Default sigma m30

hi
my 2003 wrx alarm immobiliser has locked me out.key unlocks the car but cannot disarm the alarm or immobiliser.
i had it recovered and auto electrician has checked everything.
he tells me the alarm unit and fobs have to be replaced and the system cannot be overridden.
can anyone point me in the right direction for new unit and fobs.
sigma m30.
thatcham number: TC2-808/0198.

do you have a keypad? do you know the code?

yes have keypad.
keypad has been recoded, but auto electrician reckons the unit and fobs are goosed and need replaced

u might be better off getting that alarm removed and a toad or similiar thatcham 1 alarm fitted. The M30 is getting on a bit now

i considered that. electrician says can't be done with this model without a lot of re-wiring

have you thought of a 2nd opinion ?
you can buy a brand new M30 or S30 on fleabay and just swap the main units out and away you go.

Look out for sigma Sam he / was on Sidc site
He will tell you what's wrong with it
Last time he had a ten pager
Also do a search on here as he was a regular

It can be done mate. I've just had mine replaced for the same reason. It only took half a day to do it. I've had an auto watch alarm/ immobiliser installed. Where abouts are u ?

gave me pin number for mobilizer
the person i bought the car of didnt even know car had pushcode beside steering wheel

Give me toad installer a call. He will arrange it for you. If its the Ian I think it is he is very knowledgable on alarms.

ok, had a couple of offers now. big question. does it matter if serial number is different ? there seem to be a couple of versions of m30 on the go. same connections, same box, but different serial number. was also asked by Mr Toad Installer what the serial number is.
still awaiting a reply regards that one.
