Default Locks

Regarding my other thread about car alarm for my Impreza Sport, which I am now going to ger the Clifford C650P alarm. I have not booked the car in yet no have I ordered the alarm at the place where I will be having it fitted.

My problem,
Sometime durning my cars life someone has tried to break into the N/S door thus doorlock clyinder is broken. What would be the best solution? To get the locks changed/replaced (4 of them - both doors, boot/trunk and ignition) or get the n/s door lock filled in/ smoothed over so it would be like on the new age Impreza's. Or do I just leave it as it is??
I obviously don't want to tempt fate or push my luck where car security is concerned even if I have a really good CAT 1 Alarm fitted.

Please can someone tell me/advise me on my best course of action. Thanks

Darren

best option would probably be to get the door smoothed over as your new alarm will control your central locking so there will no need for the door lock
