lol

i thought it was easy too....
wired up my boot release motor and relay myself on my old vauxhall...

1-Trigger wire from brain
2-Permanent feed
3-Wire to the boot release motor

Connected pins the wrong way round....sent 12v into the alarm brain...
crick fzzzzz new brain please (still functioned as an alarm- but blew the outputs, locking, lights, boot release etc..)

Output might need switching from latched output to momentary also by your dealer....

The channel outputs in the loom are grey with coloured tracers grey/green and grey/purple being the first two (from memory-so double check)

Id still go get your dealer to do it personally-wont cost just to wire the relay

I need a bit of help. Can anyone tell me how i can wire up my boot solenoid to my Concept 300, so i can use the boot release button on my fob. At the moment I have a button on my dash.

Do I need a relay or somthing or can just get a pulse from an output on the clifford.

Cheers

You can get a pulse output from the clifford, yes. Be sure that you clamp the back EMF from the relay... If you're not exactly sure what you're doing, go to a clifford dealer who shouldn't charge you much for this given that the unit is already working and it's just a question of configuration and wiring...

Cheers

So I basically need a relay and connect the relay to pulse output, are there any wiring diagrams around? Can't see any for the Concept 300 on the Clifford website. If it turns out to be to complex, i'll take a trip to my clifford installer.

I don't think you'll find wiring diagrams, but you will find the manual.

You also need the installer's instructions to configure the output to be pulsed too...

It is easy, but personally I'd pay someone to do it as getting the information might be troublesome

It cost me 70 quid including all the wiring and relay. Given that the wiring and relay is already in, expect half an hour's labour and that's it
