Hi there just bought my first Impreza its a 1997 Catalunya unfortunately im abit paranoid as ive been warned that they are indeed easy stole?

The car has the standard immobilizer is this on its own good enough to keep some little t leafing **** at bay while im at work?

Is there anything else that i can do to help protect it such as remove HT leads or something along them lines until i get a proper CAT A fitted?
