Default Refurbish alloy wheels in Fife / Dundee area

I'm looking to get some alloy wheels refurbished. Just wondering if anyone has used or would recommend any local places in Fife or Tayside. I'm going to get prices from IPF in Glenrothes, Coatech in Carnoustie and Refurb-alloy / Barlons in Dundee.

Not sure if there are any others I've missed.

I can highly recommend Perth Powder Coating at Almondbank - just outside Perth. Tel:- 01738 583270 and ask for Brian who owns the company.

He's refurbished and repainted the alloys on my old car, the wifes car, a friends car and he's just about to get the set that's on my Scooby. Absolutely fantastic work.

He charges £40 per wheel regardless of whether they're bare, with tyres on, or still on the car.

Never used coatech but i've heard plenty good reports about them.
I thought Barlon were no more, i used them a few years ago to get mine done but i had to take the wheels off after 18 months or so due to 2 of them being cracked at the base of the spokes (they were genuine subaru 5 spokes). The general consensus was the powder coating was to blame.

Hi mate IPF won't refurb STi alloys as they are to brittle and can't take the heat of the powder coating process.

have used coatech in the past and they did a super job fairly expensive at 50 a corner but worth every penny in my eyes

I've seen the work of Williams Powdercoating in Falkirk and it looks superb. Getting my wheels done next week. £150 for the four inc tyres refitted and balanced

Cheers for the replies. I went for IPF in Glenrothes in the end as they are probably nearest to me anyway and the price was good. They were not Sti or Subaru wheels so that was not a problem. They are doing the set of 4 16 inch wheels for £140.
