Hi folks, as you'll see from my previous posts, I have been interested in the Impreza STi (2005 onwards) for quite a while now but have yet to take the plunge.

I almost bought a new one last year but the high running costs, combined with the high monthly payments put me off. I bought a Volvo V60 back in April but I miss the performance of my previous cars and I continue to be drawn back to the Subaru. I'll lose too much if I sell the Volvo just now so it'll most likely be early next year.

Surprisingly, I have never actually had the chance to really explore the STI in any great detail and I was wondering if any Glaswegians would be willing to let me have a look around theirs and perhaps take me out for a spin. I'm keen to see what the seating position is like as I'm 6 foot 3 but it would be good to have a look round an enthusiast owned car and ask some questions.

Mate your better off signing up to Scottish scoobies.net we just had a meet there on Thursday night at the Coatbridge showcase with about 12 cars classic to hatches were all there saloons and wagons, we have a meet there every month
