Default JD Motorsport

So i have been having a terible time with this company over a order of a gearbox and rear diff. i found a epic post on here after i had placed the order lots of people complaing about reciveing broken or wrong goods. or not at all as the case may be.

having placed an order with them for a gearbox and matching diff

( Gearbox code TY754VN1AA) on wendsday 11th december I was told that it would be here for the weekend being December 14th or 15th..

So on that good news i booked some time on ramps at a local garage costing me £60 for the sataurday and sunday..

Sataurday comes... No gearbox..

Sunday passes... No gearbox.

this leaves me with no choice but to store my car at the garage £20 a day!

no answer on JD's mobiles or landlines

Monday rolls in and i called them to find out where it is. to be told they will chase it up and get back to me.. monday rolls to a close with no contact from anyone at JD motorsport. costing me £20 in storage at the garage..

Tuesday i called them they tell me its out for delivery on wendsday! I asked them if this was defo 100% as i am having to pay £20 a day to keep the car in the garage. to which they reply yep defo be there..

wendsday comes.. Supprise supprise.. no geabox..

So i called them again to find out who has the gearbox.. they tell me a company called UK pallets deal with them so i contacted them and they said they have no deliverys to my postcode.. I called them back and he then passed me a personal email address for somone who he said is dealing with it.. i emailed them.. nothing.. they then tell me there was a MIX up with the days and it would be Thursday..

This morning Thursday 19th i recieved a call from them telling me they have followed up my delivery and its going to arrived today .. its now 4pm and nothing....

no answer on landline or mobile..

not only have they passed the buck at every turn they could of saved me a exta £100 in storage for my car by just telling me the truth from the start..

If my gearbox and rear diff aint here by monday morning. Trading standards will become involved.. I also await to see the condition of this gearbox and if its even the right code.. we will see..

Come on JD don't mess us about.. i see you have a verified traders account on here, but to be honest i can't see why when all im seeing is problems...

Shocking but not the first JDM horror story Ive heard. They have an equally poor reputation amongst RS owners.
Never mind they must be paying their advertisers subs on time.

I have asked 3 times for one and they say its not got one.. they gave me a reference number and a AOL email address to chase it up and I got no reply from the email at all. starting to think there at the wind up.

Text them saying no gearbox patience wearing thin will be wanting a refund if its not here for tomorrow..

In future don't commit to any garage time until you have the goods on your hand.

Why would admin do something about dodgy advertisers? They can get a good post count out of them, they pay advertisers fees too I should imagine.

There seems to be a long list of f**ked of buyers...

I never received a fully built 2.1 bottom end. Demanded a refund or legal action after several weeks of buul****....

I did get a full refund and an apology.

Shame you had to scream and shout before they stopped messing you around. Nice of you to give him a nice interest free loan

Did you pay direct or through pay pal?

I'm thinking about buying a gearbox from here but I don't know the bloke from Adam. We now know that admin don't give a **** about dodgy traders.
(they could at least ban the *****)
If I wrote a note in the pay pal comments box along the lines of "Paid £££'s for fully working box that does not jump out of gear, no crunching, whining or other faults"
Would pay pal reimburse me if the deal went wrong? Its a bit too far to go smash his windows.

I paid via bank transfer, Which I would not advice. My advice would be ask about first see who's got the best rep for quality, delivery times ect. I took this guys word on the phone turned out to be waste of time ended up costing me money with lost time in the garage. also now im being told its not this guy Darren@JDM on here lol even tho the mobile numbers are the same I have been calling from his signature on the JDM site also.. must not be wanting anymore bad rep!

omg , i wish i spotted this sooner, i bought an engine from these via ebay and waited ages for it to be delivered, uk pallets fault apparently!!!! when it finally turned up late, i fitted it, spent a fortune trying to get my car running, then gave up with it, after 4 weeks of trying, after being assured the engine was good, , turns out it had headgasket faults ,after i sold it for spares or repair, gutted, and now they have closed their ebay account, FUMMING, ,

Theres a guy on facebook who bought an engine off them that was supposed to be from a 2004 Blobeye. When it turned up, 3 weeks later, it was a classic engine.

Unreal!
