I just bought this white classic jdm wrx from hurst cars, well happy
I also own a silver bugeye but missed the rawness of the classic but still like the refinement of the bug.

Nice to hear thoughts guys.

My mate had a Bugeye which was comfortable but lacked a bit of va va voom although his Spec D is quite a beastie even though it's standard..

I bought a P1 from scooby clinic, the previous owner is a regular on p1 woc.
Yet to pick it up, when I clear my garage!!

ye bought it mate , max seems an honest chap, seems faster than the bug does it have the td05 turbo on it?
Needs a tidy up inside and gear **** is loose when in gear think its the bushes that are worn.
paintwork is immaculate looks to have had a respray recently.

Yep will have a td05. Its lighter than the bug remember.

Give AS performance a ring and order the gear linkage bush kit. Circa £50 and will transform it.

Just thought, it won't be a td05 on that car. Itll be a vf22 or 23, can't remember which.

tt - those angel eye headlights will be changed for sure.
matty - log book says registered November 96 if that's any help on the turbo

i think p1s have vf28`s iirc

the only trouble with classics is the rear arch rust, mine had a paint bubble and thats it. i knew it would be worse on the inside but when i got to work on it , it was really really bad. i was fitting abw arches anyway but had to cut out all of the inner arch where it joins the outerskin. the water must sit on the seam sealant cos everywhere the sealant was there was rust.

so of you can get one b4 rust appears fill the inner arch full of some kind of rust proofing, not the outside of the inner arch i`m on about the gap inbetween the 2 skins, you will need a lance

this on looks clean as round the arches, its had a full respray by the looks of it but not to sure when.
the blitz nur spec exhaust is a bit loud may change the exhaust.
On my first classic both arches were rotten and I had them cut out and plated up.
