Hi,

Check on Ebay and see what they are selling for, I'd have thought around £60 -£70.
If you are looking at buying one then you may as well buy a V3 WRX top mount intercooler, they are identical except for the STI one being sprayed silver and having the decal.

I thought the V3 STI one had a larger tank welded onto the back & was more desirable because of it.

I have a V3 WRX intercooler in my shed and a V3 Type R intercooler which I bought off Ebay expecting it to be larger only to find that they are identical in size.

It may well be that the V3 Type R intercooler I bought is not genuine but it looks like it is.

Has yours got an extra tank welded on at the back like mine? You may be right if it has, but my mate told me that was unique to the STI one but he could be wrong.

i managed to pick a sti v3 intercooler up for £40. much larger than the slanty wrx 94 one i have now.

suprised at the v3 wrx and sti ones being same size.

I think there is only 20 bhp difference between the two models on the original spec.
