Default The £72,000 2 door STI, limited to 10.

Here's one for the die hard Subaru fan with deep pockets. An Impreza with a 2.2l producing 500bhp/508ftlb.

The cosworth ones struggled to sell so this has no chance.

I saw this at the ring last october and it is lethal, Not sure its worth the 72k price though.

Could easily build a similar spec for half the money.

Looks quite nice, probably goes well too but if you want a track focused weapon for £72k I'm not sure why would you pick this over the alternatives - for example, a used Radical can be had for half the price, spend the change on a comfy towing barge and a trailer.

I think its just a good marketing exercise & one that may earn them the mainstream recognition & business that e.g Litchfields now enjoys.

Well I hope they use a different body shop to the show car. Fit and finish is sh1te. They will never sell a single one.

Its just a modified car for £72k You could do it yourself cheaper and be in the same position of owning a modified car.

Love the guys at Revolution but they've dropped a bollock with this tbh Doesn't look anywhere near the fit and finish you'd expect from an 'edition' car and £72k, I'd rather buy Frayz's

Fair play to what they have tried to achieve!! Dont forget there only a smallish company compared to others who have been doing limited edition jap models such as Prodrive, Extreme, Litchfields etc etc!!
OK 72k is a bit excessive, but im sure they could have done without quite a lot of stuff and bought the price down.

My perfect limited edtion Subaru, would have a forged 2,1litre engine, some nice suspension and some big *** brakes and about 400-450bhp whack a limited edition plaque on the cosole and sell it for 40k, bet you would still make a big profit!!!

Lunacy on so many levels.

If that's worth £72k grand then my cars just gone up in price!

Give me £72k, ill give you a car better built with more performance and a big lump of money back to spend on Ring tickets.

Failing that I can drive you to the nearest Porsche dealer who also gives you a warranty on your sub 8 min car. Lmao.

Andy F`s Road going 8 second car only cost him £30k to build(I say only ), Granted he did most of the labour but even if you doubled it to include it, as Ste said its just a modified car at the end of the day nothing limited about it, It was a 4 door and now its a 2 door that looks like a 4 door .....I know what i would rather have.

We're building one just like it as we speak. (JDM Hawk) We've chosen an EJ22 stroker. I don't think the man's bill will be as much as that!

I take it in the link the price is listed? ( can't be bothered to look )

I only ask as obviously this whole build was covered in jap performance and in the final instalment they stated they were hoping to build 10 cars in total and price should be around 45k??

It's a nice car to look at from a distance but 70 odd grand..... Aye whatever, although having said that it took them 2 hours to put 2 tyres on for me the other week after I had taken the wheels over in my work van...... Yeah they were busy but I would think someone could have taken 10 mins to stick them on the rims for me instead of having me standing in the shop for 2 hours with a face like a smacked ar*e

Mick
