That may not be a bad thing, if it blows up they'll just abandon it and the original poster stands a chance of getting it back. Not ideal but better than being smashed up etc

As above it is obviously being parked somewhere when not being used......think and go hunting.

Whats the spec incase it does get stripped?
Sure Nick wont mind me answering this for him, from what I know of his spec;

K-sports 6 pot 330mm front brakes
Japspeed (or maybe J-speed) FMIC
Apexi induction kit
VF34 or 35
Dont know about the exhaust
x3 prosport gauges (green) in a carbon dash pod
Lots of pink samco hose
OBP (I think) catch can with custom return to sump
pink injectors
BC coilovers
black mudflaps

Thanks Iain, almost got my spec right.
For accuracy:

Loads of pink hoses (some Samco, some JS performance)
Pink cold air feed in fog cover
Pink battery clamp
Pink reservoirs/washer bottle caps
Pink rear calipers
Almost brand new BC BR series coilovers with extenders for the rears
K sport 330mm 8 pot fronts (black)
HEL braided brake lines
Unbranded Japspeed fmic
OBP catch can with custom return to sump
Blue hawkeye injectors
vf34
Apexi power intake
Japspeed downpipe
Ninja 2 centre and backbox
Whiteline arb and drop links
front and rear strut brace
Black mudflaps with WRX stickers
x3 prosport premium gauges (green) in a carbon dash pod

Car has been seen many times around Southmead/Brentry area of Bristol, Last confirmed sighting by police was Crow Lane at 3am today.
The number plate has almost certainly been changed to BG07***

Might be worth looking around where the pubs and clubs are tonight and tomorrow mate, there's usually a "strip" where all the little w*nkers drive back and fore.

I find it disgusting that the police have even spotted the car and its not been found yet, fingers crossed for a good end to all this mate.

Can you not get a load of people together and cover a good sized area in one go?

The sad thing is that even if you find parts on eBay for sale you have to prove they are yours. When I had a car stolen with custom parts the fuzz said that pictures of the parts being made and fitted (even though identical on eBay) unless I had receipts and part numbers there's nothing they can do.

The car is still being driven around Bristol. The last definite sighting by police was at 3am yesterday.

I have had a few reports of it being seen around Bristol yesterday and we were out in force all night but we didn't see anything. I don't know if the police saw it last night but there are a lot of cop cars rolling around.

I should apologise to any silver subaru owners in bristol because a lot of them are getting pulled over at the moment. Police are very determined to get this car back.

I doubt very much that the thieves gave it thought to allow the oil to get upto temp before ragging it

Thank you guys.
Indeed the car has been recovered. I am so relieved, i was just starting to give up on it.

Only damage to the outside appears to be one wheel but the amount of speed ramps they hit at full tilt will certainly have at least damaged the bumper. Fingers crossed for the engine/gearbox.

Where do you stand insurance wise.
If indeed there is engine or gearbox damage or maybe the engine goes bang in the next couple of weeks because of how the car has been treated by the thieving ***** are you able to claim ??

Glad you got her back, really hope all is well and the culprits get whats coming to them.
