Default Safety features

Hey guys,

Looking to get a wrx in the next few weeks. The mrs' came out with "but its older, so wont have all the safety features of new cars". In one sense I'm thinking "aww, she cares about me", in the other, I'm thinking "surely a scoob will probably have more stability features than my current 07 Leon FR"

So guys...dazzle me with facts if you will..

Seat have never won the WRC. That might be a good start. You'll have 4 wheel drive, ABS, ESP. I'm sure you can explain all these acronyms to your missus

Because it's not front wheel drive you'll have more control over the front etc.....

Depends what age of WRX you're talking about. Early ones had not much at all, later ones will have more.

I'd have thought an 07 Leon would have traction control with stability control so would be alot safer if you had a 'moment' than a scooby unless its a hatch as i don't think any had even basic traction control until the hatches let alone stability control?

My 2005 STi doesn't have anything, ABS is as technical as it gets!!

Well you won't get ESP! You'll get ABS and a few airbags.
