Struggling to sell

Struggling to sell
Just want people's thought's and opinions on my car. Put up for sale as being jobless and young does not help with a 1.8 turbo
It's a leon cupra 1.8t . Payed just over 3k for it witch is the going price for one (July this year).
Got my mum's little clio as a runabout over winter so it's really needed gone.
This aint a for sale thread, just really struggling to understand how little interest there is now a days in enthusiast owned car's. Wrong time of year maybe?

Don't really understand if you want it gone, and can't afford due to age and unemployment, why would you take a part exchange for an impreza?! Bad time of year to sell though unless your looking for a cheap quick sale I would say.

As i have a project impreza here. That im saving up for when the finances are better. Just a bit of a waste if the car's going to be sitting around for ages over winter. doing nothing.
Plus its not really doing it for me (so to speak) and i rather it went to someone who could enjoy it more

Fair enough pal... but I just think in December most people will find it a little bit more difficult to sell a car. Especially a performance car. Hold out I'd say if you want your asking price. Maybe try and squeeze a bit more in to the advert. I'm sure many on here will agree a good advert is vital!!! Some will look at the first sentence and decide it's a no. Interior pictures will help too history of the car, services done, owners of vehicle, tyre condition, include everything.

I hope you know more about cars than you do about spelling and grammar with that sort of statement.
OP: It's the time of year. People will be looking to get Christmas and New Year out of the way first before looking at this sort of car. If you can hold out until January/Febuary and it will hopefully sell.

i had one of these before i bought my impreza,it was stage 2, i ended up selling it for £1500 for a quick sale, they are very good underated cars when remapped, but there are just so many of them now,you can pick up a cupra r for £3495 now.
Knock £500 off the price and it will sell in no time

Was yours a pre facelift one or facelift. Way to cheap to sell at that price.
I might be able to hold out till January February time. Depends on how work is over next few weeks if any. . . Going to be a quite xmas anyway. Ill put up a new advert tonight for it.
thanks guys

The cupra r has deeper bumpers, 18" alloys, same engine as audi tt,and s3, and as you say brembo brakes, same thing as a wrx and sti, different add ons and engine internals
