Just thought I'd share some pics and videos of the run at the weekend at Santa Pod.
AFP Impreza 8.4 at 170mph - YouTube
AFP Subaru 8.42 at 170.4mph (in car video) - YouTube
Included a misfire in 5th due to faulty cam sensor, more to come!

Said before, superb results Andy. Credit to all your hard work.
Crazy to think that Ross's evo holds the current 30-130 time of 5.6 sec and you did it on Saturday in just 4.01!
I know 0.4 sec is years when at those levels. But with the extra N02, do you think shes capable of a 7sec qtr?

It is the fastest road legal Impreza in the world.
There is a quicker one in Auz with RWD, slicks, tubbed rear end, solid axle etc but that is not a road car.
It may well have the power but I don't think its got the grip to do a 7.x, even now I'm struggling to keep the fronts on the ground and have to run lower boost until I'm in 4th gear, as soon as the fronts go light the power spins away there due to the centre diff, its uprated and on full lock etc which was fine on lower power.....but not now!
Thats why all serious drag cars are RWD. One way around it would be use slicks and a skyline box or an auto which is permanent RWD with a front clutch but no plans for that just yet!
