Default Sp00ks - fraudolet seller - scammer

Hi to all...
I try to save others from a scammer that have stolen my moneys for an object that i've buiyed here on the market place.
The story is simple, it has made a post for sell an alloy bonnet:
https://www.scoobynet.com/subaru-par...oy-bonnet.html
It had good trader scores, a lot of posts on the forum, so i've trusted it...
It has told me that have shipped the item, but after some months i've still not received nothing. And it has stoped responding my pm.
I've searched on the net for the nick name sp00ks, and i've found the same person on the p1woc forums. I've contacted it also on the other forum, got 1 response, then it has stopped logging on also on that forum.
Then i've found it on ebay:
http://myworld.ebay.com/sp00ksp1/
And it was selling an alloy bonnet:
http://myworld.ebay.com/sp00ksp1/

I'd bet that there is only one sp00ks with a p1 in uk, that have to sold a white bonnet with black vents (that can be seen on this forum in his garage)... Contacted it also on ebay, got 1 response saying that i'snt the sp00ks that i'm searching, then stopped responding me.
I've saved all my communications with him, i've the receipt of the paypal payment (and for sure the mail address of the paypal account). With some ingenuity i've sent the payment as a gift, to let it have all the moneys that it has asked. My bad, i trust people.

So, be aware!
I cant send via pm more details, like the mail address of paypal or the contacts that i've had with him, no problems...

to be honest, if this is the bonnet:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2709625558...853%26_rdc%3D1

it clearly states at the top of the auction, "this listing was ended by the seller as its no longer available for sale".

edit:
Actually scrap that it was ended this month.

are you sure you have covered all avenues before submitting this thread?

not taking sides. J

I've the proof of payment of the bonnet on november of the 2011, then yesterday i've found the same bonnet on auction on ebay. When i've contacted it on ebay, i was quite surprised to see the same bonnet in auction...
Then i've contacted him via ebay (as on forums i wasn't able go get contacts with it from months):
Now that i've opened here the post and have sent it the link, he is responding me on ebay. Hope to get cleared.
I'm a serious buyer, i trust people, and if someone want ALL the contacts that i've had with him, i've nothing to hide.

We are speaking of sp00ks, with two zeros in the username.
Quite unique username, only one person in uk use it, and the other is in australia (don't ask me how i know of the australian sp00ks )

After have opened the post here i've sent him the link of this discussion, and i've got his attention (actually, has responded 5 min after i've sent it the link), now i'm having a conversation via ebay contacts, and for sure i'm saving all the messages (sent and received), for future reference. He has pointed his reasons, and i've pointed my reasons.
I hope to get somewhere... After 6 months...

I really hope you get your money back, I hate seeing anybody ripped off, if he sent it and it's lost he sent it recorded so there's no problem he can claim.

I've learned that lesson

In any case, seem that we have got a solution, and that the lack of contact was for personal problems, the bonnet on the auction was another bonnet (that looked so similar), and that the bonnet sold to me was really shipped and lost, but was insured so that in the next few days he get the refound from the courier, then send the moneys to me.
All to me seemed a scam (and as said, i've waited 6 months before do anything, a lot of patience), and when i have seen that bonnet on ebay i was quite sure that was confirmation of a scam.
Maybe sometimes the thing aren't what appear.

When i receive back my moneys, i will update this, and sp00ks has said that in the next future will come back here.

I came back when i have the moneys...

Hi guys!

First of all thanks John for texting me much appreciated, i have been out of forum activity for a while due to personal reasons (masterx81 is aware of these)

I've been speaking direct with Masterx81 for the last hour via Ebay messaging to resolve this problem.
I sent him his bonnet last november (collected by @rseh0le-force on 11th december) it was insured but only against loss, not against damage.

Parcelforce wouldn't play ball when trying to find out the status of the parcel, delivery status location etc. emails and calls had been sent back and forth.
I then had some bad news and have been off the "radar" since.

I've finally managed to get some sense from parcelforce via parcel2go who i used to book them through after a very heated phone call this evening.
Long story short Parcelforce have admitted that the parcel hasn't had any delivery attempts and hasn't been returned back to depot.

Parcel2go have refunded me the postage costs, and once they receive via email my copy of the original advert and also paypal transaction details they will refund me the original amount paid aswell.
The above process is to take 5 Working days to issue the refund, all of this has been explained to masterx81.

I'd like to point out (as masterx81 already knows) the bonnet advertised on ebay is a completely different bonnet, and the advert has been removed because i by mistake listed it twice and the other listing ended as a buy it now (item no: 270962565170)
I'm not a con-artist nor scammer, just had a parcel go missing and in the middle of it all really bad personal matters.

Anyway my lesson has been learnt, and i'd like to NOT recommend to anybody the use of Parcelforce.

Anyway i hope you guy's can be as understanding with this problem as Masterx81 has been.

Thanks

Sp00ks
