do motorway police still pull you on speed traps ?
i got a mate who is sort of worried, he was on a motorway on a early weekend morning and was doing quite a bit over 90ish and then noticed a hi viz car on the police vehicles rampy things, he then obv broke but never got pulled and done but i seem to remember some traffic guns now have cameras and if that is the case,,,,, would they still bothering pulling you or would they just report you and arrange a court date ?
anyone here know if they still bother wasting there time to pull you over if speeding as with motorway bridges ect they just film you but even then they still have a fleet of high pursuit motors which im assuming is for the bigger offenders,..... such as my friend i guess
answers on the back of a post card please

thats what i was thinking but it wasnt a bridge camera but a marked police car in a layby/police vehicles rampy things, i know the part he is taking about as years ago that as a proper police hiding place but people back then got pulled #
if it was a laser type hand gun with a video built in would it still be a NIP ( do they have these guns with videos in them aswell ?

Happened to my mate last month, saw a yellow van on top of a motorway bridge, slowed down but still got an nip in the post about a week later, had a dirty number plate on the front so just to make sure a traffic car passed us 2 mins later to check the plate still never pulled him, got 3 points and a 60 quid fine for 92 mph.

If it was just a 'traffic officer' sat in the layby waiting for something dodgy to go past then he will be alright, if he saw a cam then its a different story.. 14 days, if he doesn't have an NIP in that time then hes alright.
