Just remember that dyno results differ from place to place, sometimes quite largely too.
I would imagine somewhere around the 330 mark would be a good figure.

My old WRX made these figures on the same mods that you are doing...

It also helps to upgrade the scoop/undertray to an STI one as that will give the top mount better air flow

so figures show any where between 300 - 380BHP on the mods stated on standard fuel ( V-Power ), but the blob was an sti so does this count ?

thats a big differance :-)

i think 380 is a bit of an exception.
a realistic expectation is 320-330 for a vf35, a bit more for a vf34.

Adding ported headers to that list and porting the wastegate on the VF 35 would be a good idea.

You'll get something in the region of 320 of each. With the headers and a frontmount I got 340 of each.

Realistically, it's a circa 330-350 turbo assuming the optimum supporting mods. Don't expect any more than that, be pleasantly surprised if you do get more!

I think with the right supporting mods you can get 350bhp from a VF35, but I think Colin isnt looking to go as extreme as this.

If you drag up the past there is a thread on here that ran for quite sometime regarding the VF35 capabilities, I think the thread was called something like "382.4bhp on a VF35" ?!?

I recon you should have no problem hitting your target of 330bhp with the VF35

My old STI spec gave me 370BHP

VF35 with ported wategate to stop boost creep
Standard Pink Injectors
Standard top mount
APS Inner Wing induction Kit
3 inch decat
GT spec 2 headers
Uprated bosch fuel pump
10% Methanol
Andy Forrest ECUTEC remap
I cant remember if I had my fuel pressure regulator fitted then or not but if it was fitted then the fuel pressure would have been set to 3 bar on idle.
The turbo still had a little left to give but the fuel pump was pretty much maxed out unfortunately

I have been wrong many times in the past but I think the only advantage I would have had with having the STI as it had AVCS heads as I don't recall the WRX having them and obviously different cams.

The VF35 is a good wee turbo with plenty of punch and quick spooling, I was on 1.6 bar by about 2600 rpm
