Hi quite new to here.
Hi guys i have been a member for a while now but today i finally bought my first real subaru. I have bought a 1995 Wagon WRX import. Really good condition hasnt missed a beat so far so im very pleased with it i bought it for 900 euro as im currently posted in germany. Which is about 800 pound which i think is good but would like your comments on that.
Im moving back to england soon so i cant wait so i can really get into it.

I dont know yet. It quite standard, all that has been done is some cheap air filter, turbo back exhaust and a baileys dump value which is starting to wind me up already. I kind of gonna look out for what everyone else is doing and follow in their footsteps until i can find my feet in the world of subaru

First thing I would do is remove the baileys dv!! they are notorious for causing running problems as they are quite frankly crap lol. Get a standard Subaru recirc valve on.
Check whether its been mapped for the associated parts too!
Personally I'd start with the suspension, I haven't touched the engine on my current classic (yet!!!!). Bought a nice set of Rotas, excellent tyres, set of Tein coilovers and uprated anti roll bars. It feels excellent on the road, just needs the braking side of things to addressed now.

Yea the baileys is starting to annoy me. What ECU's can these take? Braking was something that was on my list. The list is just getting bigger though. Know any good garages around Woking, Surrey area? as thats where i will be living.

One modification just paves the way for the next! lol I'm pretty sure that the ecu on the 95 is not mappable, possibly look into ESL. Heres a good link for other ecu options etc http://www.jollygreenmonster.com/
I'm a northern lad so I'm not familiar with the southern areas, someone else may come along though with some reccomendations though.

a z4 ecu is a easy first mod m8. uses the same map as the ppp performance pack so ive read on here. i fitted 1 last week to my wagon which is a my96 uk wagon and its def feeling livlier! mine wont be on for much longer as im buying an apexi ecu and commander this week. you should pick one up cheap,i got mine on fleabay for 20 quid. make sure u have a tdo5 turbo not an td04 as its mapped for the td05. i agree 100% about the baileys too. mine had 1 when i bought it and it kept sticking open and dumping boost. got a forge one now and its been fine.
