Think I spotted an 08 red hatch on the bay the other day for £12999, easy to get it to 330 power with aftermarket exhaust, remap and a panel filter, obviously you won't get the seats, nav, push start and rims unless upgraded already.

Think the point is all that inside makes people want it. Im sure i have seen one on pistonheads for 15k so not to far off your budget. Could always have a cheeky offer in the middle and see what happens

exhaust remap thats it, ive seen the sti for 13k another grandish and ya there.

330s mind itll be a while i reakon maybe 18 months

If fuel keeps going up and the desireability keeps going down, it will be much, much sooner.
