Excuse the newbie question but will my 95 import be limited in first, it doesnt seem to boost high in first into second and full boost comes on same as 3rd 4th 5th .

secondly how many revs are you guys at with 5 speed box at 70 mph i am at 3000rpm is this normal

That's normal for turbocharged cars, you don't require full boost in those gears, putting full boost there wouldn't be advisable either!

Thanks tony i have only ever owned one petrol turbo before and this was a LET astra mkii coupled to a f20 which meant the limiter wasnt there in first as the engine should of had a 6 speed 4x4 coupled to it.. Is this what they class as de-limit when they chip your ecu ?

No, you'll (should) still have a limit of boost in 1st and second, its to do with the load on the engine, I've always wondered what it'd be like having full boost in first though, would be mental! I don't really think you could change gear fast enough...

On my wagons 5 speed I'm sitting about 3500@70, 3000@60.....
