God knows why the price is up there? I thought it interesting that he states its a standard car, then lists the mods!

Hi. It's a good question.

The asking price (and it is only an asking price)reflects, among other things, that (a) it is a UK car, not an import (b)it has a reconditioned engine which has been carefully run in and so should have many miles left in it (c) the brakes have recently been refurbished at a cost of £750 and (d)it has been dyno'd showing a genuine 311bhp at the flywheel.

So its a) a car b) Needed a new engine as the old one wasnt looked after c) it has brakes and d)A genuine 311bhp at the flywheel, as opposed to a fake 311bhp!

I'm impressed

At the end of the day it's the sellers car and he can advertise it for what ever price he likes! Wether he sells it or not is a different matter

No harm in asking! The price is always there to be knocked down! ( in his case quite a bit )
