Default best mods for torque up on sti

ok planning on doing some more work after the summer so want to get ready.
2002 sti prodrive style currently 340 on vf34 panel filter and full decat mapped by duncan.

change of turbo will be coming as to what one not fully decided as yet, power wise would be happy around the 380 tbh as it's daily driver and dont get tracked but was wanting the torque up more,.... so whats best mods for torque/spool

headers/up pipe from harvey
light weight pulley set

what else?

i would go for a md321h turbo. 400 bhp turbo and supposed to be great on a 2.0 sti.
proven turbo with a good rep, so won't blow up on you.

10/15% Meth map, makes for nice early spool and plenty of advance mid range. Might be a pain though if its a daily runner. I`m on 15% E85, it was nice and easy to get hold of untill Morrisons pulled it from the pumps.

Im running 341 bhp / 340 ftlbs on a 2002 sti prodrive, mods are full 3", decat, my own ported headers, remap by JGM running on sul (97ron), great base to work from. md turbo way to go along with 650 injectors, should see u up around the figures your looking for, I was running full 2:5" decat, with gt spec 2 headers, 331bhp / 316 ftlbs, but then then headers started cracking so thats why I went ported, couldnt justify costs of some header sets on the market, plus i got a bit of satisfaction of knowing my headers gave me such a good gain, all with standard turbo too boot,

thanks guys i was thinking the md321 turbo as had been reading plenty up on it, and very good results.
so equal length will give me better torque/spool than unequal dunx, cool as the rumble is nice but not dependant upon

Yes the only unfortunate side effect with equal length headers is you lose the burble/rumble. But the equal length complemented with a twin scroll turbo will have you smiling all day long .

I've got equal length headers on mine, whilst you do lose the burble it still sounds awesome imo

More power Grant? I'm still waiting to get mine up to the 330 mark I've decided to go full decat so I'll need to pick your brain if you don't mind on how to easily fit the downpipe?

But there's no point going decat until you are ready to do a lot more. Because you will need will need a remap, so you better start saving.
