Default What version is my Classic?

I own a Turbo 2000, registered in May 2000. What version would this be? (V5/6?) I keep looking to buy parts and they keep mentioning versions.

Thanks

If you scroll down to the bottom the Cam belt kits are organised by version number, how would i know what mine is if there wasn't dates stated? It doesn't mention MY's.

Thanks

If it a 2000 model it will be either a my99 or my00 which is the same as saying version 5 or 6.

The easiest way to tell is what position your coil pack is in, my99/00 or v5/6 have their coil pack off center to the right of the throttle body.

You have an my00 phase 2 model car, that will suffice when ordering a gates/subaru cambelt, then check the chassis number on your bulkhead, think its the 8th letter, it will be either an x or y, if its a y (it should be) then you have 4 year/60k intervals or for an x its 3 year/45k.

How do you know all this good stuff? My service book says 45K for a cam belt change in one place and 60K in another - have changed it anyway, but now I know where to look.

Phase 2 Engines. UK MY99/00

Engine revisions introduced in 1999. Same engine as the Legacy of 1999. More BHP now 215. Torque remains the same. Different blow off valve, internal mods to the heads and roller rockers. Gearbox casing is stiffer and bolted in seven places to the engine.
