Default A nice dilemma to be in

I have around £9k to buy a replacement for my RB5 that has been written off.

The RB5 was a garaged toy as I have a daily workhorse which I use for all manner of stuff. Great for just throwing the kids in etc.

My dilemma is that I have my mind set on a newage STI but would have to sell the workhorse. Or should I replace it with another RB5 which I can take out as and when I want?

Decisions............any thoughts?

If you have 9k, why would you need to sell your workhorse for a newage STi?

If it's a play toy then I would suggest a nice type r, i am sure there will be one with a few tasteful mods running mid to high 300's. If you want a newage sti I would suggest tet driving a few as in my opinion they don't feel as raw and nimble.

Type r gets my vote

The obvious choice for me would be a P1. Added bonus of very little depreciation.

You'd get a mint P1 for that.

RB5's are great but most seem to have lot of mileage, you could be looking for a minter for a while.

I've had a newage before and I admit they are not quite as much fun and deffinitely not as raw, which I like.
The wife never liked the RB5, said it was boring? whereas the Newage she thought was great.........which always helps.
Ideally the choice would be a P1 and keep the run around but i'm not sure ££££ will stretch that far.............or maybe they will ????
