Default immobiliser key pad code

Does anyone know where to find the code ? as my key fob packed up and i am waiting for the missus to bring the spare one out. it is a 2001 classic

ps i have the service book in the car but cannot find it in there

yep normally on a small sticker in with the service book stuff> its a late classic so you might find pushing it 50yrds down the road will help> they were a pain for picking up interference

I think it was partly because I was parked in front of this bloomin traffic light sensor

Did you sort it?
If you can't find the code, just reset it to something you can remember.
(was about to link the guide, but bloody search is not working)
