I`m glad you enjoyed the Skyline as much as I did. It really did show me today just how good it really is......except with bubbling brake fluid:-)
Thanks to my bestist mate Steve for letting me play in 2 sessions in his 3 bed detatched.

Cool

Good day out Bob.

Two of your awards going to the lads from Scotland. Plenty of track experience but their first time at Donnington. I think they enjoyed themselves.

Dingy may be a little sad he won the best dumpvalve as he doesn't have one fitted. LOL
That MK2 does make some awesome wastegate chatter noises though. You should hear it on the inside

Cheers
Lee

OOOPS! Sorry, I thought the chirping was from dump valves! Can you get scoobs to chirp like that? I want a scoob and should I get one I want it to chirp and possibly chiss aswell!!

I missed the TVR spin, that's why it's not in the awards but congratulations anyway! Another catergory missed was Best front wheel dive car on track which must go to type R, a sterling performance and well done for getting your OSR wheel off the ground at the Melboune hairpin!

Please feel free to add any catergories you like, Bob

Just glad to see you made it unscathed Matt.. close call.

You weren't trying to go through Craners as fast as I did, were you ?

Type R, so it was you that stopped the final session! I spent some time chasing you earlier in the day. You've got a sweet handling car.

Like me, you too got caught out on the black ice down Craner Curves. Damned weather. It surely can't have been driver error . Sadly, nobody saw my 'off' there but I reckon it must have looked pretty good. My son (passenger) thought it was hillarious. Put the ***** up me, though!

Live and learn, eh

Great day. Thanks Stef. But I do wish someone had told me we were using the full circuit before I hit the brakes coming into the Esses

Hoppy,
The first thing I mentiomed in my two drivers briefings was that we were using the GP circuit. Were you asleep?? Were you there??

Also the circuit was bone dry down Craners, otherwise I would have mentioned any ice anywhere (as I did re. Esses braking), and so can only come to the same conclusion that I did with the TVR, ie. the limits of grip were reached and then surpassed, leaving driving talent FAR behind!!!

Crikey you managed another..and all on your own this time...... and i thought it was the additional ballast you had in the front left hand side......

Thanx for the passenger laps, i would have loved to have had another go when the slicks were on but you looked fully booked, perhaps next time,

just spoke to Iain with the TVR, he say's that he just pushed too hard on craner, but he had had 2 previous goes roung craner b4 the spin, on the spin lap he took it a little wider on the line and it went! he thought there might hav been something on the track (just off the racing line) lol

Docjock, it's the good way, I was impressed with how you managed to use the rumble strips without falling off!

Having spoke to other people on the day about this they seem to agree that he found something off line in Craner..... the brakes!!!

This then caused the spin...

Like I said at the time, the limits were found and then surpassed...
