HID Kits - Sidelight help
Hi All
I have a Bugeye with 8000k Hid Kit. These make the sidelights look really yellow, I'm looking at buying some sidelights off ebay just wanted some advice really,
1. Should I get the blue LED sidelights or white LED sidelights?
2. Also, is there anyway to change the side lights without taking the whole headlight off?
Any help appreciated

I have the 8000k as well mate.
Get white LED sidelights from a reputable place (NOT ebay). If you buy the ebay ones I guarantee they'll fail within a month (I went through a set in 2 weeks) - they're very bright but crap quality.
Search for LED and HID with my name and you should find a good thread.

i got the white led bulbs from halfords to match my hids, better than standard. although i have morettes, you should be able to change bulbs without taking headlight out, have to take the air intake thing off to get to drivers side, and move battery over a bit to get to passenger( i my memeory serves me right). hope this helps.
(p.s. some of the leds on e bay are crap after reading about them on here... )

Yea the ebay ones are crap, Ive went through several ones claiming they are bright white. When you put them in, they have a blue tint.
Also tried the ones from Vw the bright white ones they come out yellow tint. Im still on a quest to find ones that claim to have a bright white.

Can anyone post any pictures up please. Because I have the 8000K HID they look a bit blue and would like the best colour match. Think I need whites ones with a blue tinge but not too much blue to get attention from the wrong people, if you know what I mean!!

Thanks for all your help guys. I ended up getting the white Prism LEDs from Halfords. Tried to get the tower LEDs but at the time they were out of stock everywhere. The Prisms look really good with the 8000k HID, colour match is fantastic. A big thanks also to the guys at Halfords in Huddersfield as they fitted them for only £3 even thought they had to take the headlight out.
