Help !!!!!! lost keys
Have lost my key to my 55 plate wrx.
Called dealer, he can get me key my tuesday and then i need to get the car there for the key to be programmed to the car. only cant get the car there!!
i have a local guy who can cut me a key by taking one of the lock barrels out and to him. Is there any way i can get the car started?
There is a keypad on the underside of the dash right of the steering wheel.
is this to manually enter a imobiliser key code if you can get an key to fit the ignition lock?
please help, lost with out it!!
this is a genuine post, check my other posts have had this car for a few months now, (only 1 key supplied!).

Use Subaru Assist or if not covered Join the AA or RAC and then get them to trailer the car to the dealer after your break down caused by losing the key.
The keypad overrides the alarm and immobilsier within the alarm but not the transponder in the ignition lock. The chip is within the key so the new key will need to be coded to the ECU.
If you have a key made all you will manage is to turn on the ignition.
