I've also been done! Paid for some coilpacks for my 96 WRX and still haven't recieved them yet! Paid for them on the 14 December and reckons he sent them on the 18! Doesn't take 2 weeks i know and by whta people are saying i've been scammed too!!!!!!!

As you paid by cheque, you must have his address. a lot of members all over the country. someone will live close to him and pay his car/home a visit for you.

 

Go visit the ***** with some mates if need be. Maybe inform him via suitable methods that ripping people off isnt nice. A video clip of "suitable methods" posted on youtube would be great

may not be traceable but its worth a try. you all must have sent the money to an address.

 

Had the police involved in a scam that happened a couple of year back on here,involved a few people paying for parts that never arrived or were incomplete kits etc..... one guy took it on himself to take it as far as he could on behalf of the others in order to get refunds or the kits paid for.... police were under the impression that the scammer was only very inept and not an intentional rip off merchant,and we would all get our bits/money in due time....... nothing happened with it in the end,he made a profit and we lost out,unless its fraud on a decent scale plod do not have the time and resorces to be able to follow it up.......
