Hi having had an addition to the familly recently we will be needing to use all 5 seats on occasion

The lapbelts are not particlarly beneficial in the case of a high speed impact to the person using them. Hence my wife would not contemplate one of the little'uns sitting in that position.

Is it possible to add a 3 point seat belt to the centre rear on the Impreza? I am specifically concerned with a 97MY 4 door.

Anyone got any idea of cost, ease of fiting etc?

NO!

The MY01 has a solid rear bulkhead specifically so a centre lap and diagonal belt could be fitted. The MY00< do not have this, and if Subaru couldn't do it safely, you can't either i'm afraid.

So are there all diagonal belts in the rear of the MY01 onward and extended service intervals on MY02 onward.... - and azn STi version... Hmmm...

Actually worried about keeping Scoob at all

Seem to have convinced 'her' that we can get a baby seat that will attach by only the centre lap belt and a roof box for travelling on holiday
