Default Hi Im new.......from Yorkshire!!

Hi,
My names Andy and ive just swapped my BMW M3 for a 2002 WRX Wagon and so ive been told a pretty rare one!
Here she is:-

Shes got a VF34 Turbo,TEK 3 map,Walbro 255 pump, full Miltek exhaust with no cats, panal filter and is running at 320 hp.Its meant to be the only white wagon in this shape in the UK so says the previous owner.
Hope to see some of you around and if you do give me a wave
Cheers,
Andy

What's it like to drive compared to the M3?
Totally different! Beemer was comfortable,refined,smooth..........scooby is raw, bouncy and alot faster!!
Yeah it is skoosh`s old car,we did a straight keys for keys swap!! I wanted to go back to jap and he wanted to cruise about with the hood down think its his age (dont tell him that!!).
Went to the pod on the 23rd and was quite dissapointed with it,got a 13.7 at 98.1mph,would you say that was reasonable for a 320bhp car???

Welcome
Suppose 13.7 is not too bad but i thought that the top speed would be at least 100. Dont forget that the wagons especially the newage ones are alot heavier than the saloons.
What was the weather like? when I went to santa pod on the 24th it was pi55ing it down all day!

Yet again nice wagon

Ayup Andy, must've been the way you change gear mate..............

Glad to see you're still enjoying the scoob.......... it hasn't stopped feckin raining since I bought your bloody Beemer............!

My crew were at santa pod and I believe that times were pretty poor overall. One of our guys with a 310BHP P1 ran just over 13 secs at just over 100MPH...........I don't think the time is to bad personally.

Enjoy.

Si.

Hey up si,hows the beemer treating ya?
Bet ya gagging to get the roof down!!
Think it might just be me not quite getting the launch right (not used to 4WD) but It did feel as though the clutch was slipping (revs rising) but didnt you put a new clutch in the beginning of this year!?!
Ive had a 13.8 out of my old MR2 Turbo and that was only running 235hp and rear wheel drive
P.S I need to get that oil pressure gauge sorted, its driving me nuts

Hi Andy........... beemer's great mate.......... probably had a combined 4 hours with the roof down............. the weather's gotta get better soon..!

Clutch was fitted last year mate....... I'm sure you have the receipt in that file I left ya......... shouldn't be slippin tho' mate.

In the glovebox I think I left a wire with a button........ try recalibrating the gauge mate.

Si.

ps:did ya find my bluetooth headset in the little cubbyhole, right hand side of s/wheel...?
