do i need fuel regulator with 320 bhp
hi guys,i have a 2004 sti uk and having a 320 bhp package fitted and the company says that i need a fuel regulator at a cost of 225 + fitting,my question is do i need it as my mate has a wr1 which has just been taken to 340 bhp without a regulator fitted by the same company.
a bit confused why i need one and he does`nt,is it because he has uprated fuel pump fitted as standard and do they use a different reg when fitted from factory with ppp.
thanks guys.

That said the standard pump on your car will cope as long as you don't start changing the injectors etc,
