Hi

I deleted it earlier because it gave away the results for people who wanted to watch the footage on telly.

A better title would have been - "RAC - Latest News"

Cheers

Thumbs up

Home from work at 5pm. Have been sat in with PC switched off, no TV, no radio and not answering phone. Really enjoyed the coverage.

Slipped up big time as I booked a major overhaul for some machinery back in March, never realised it was the Rally weekend.
Its being done in October next year

Please accept my apologies. I really wasn't thinking very hard.

Somebody posted the original thread with a similar title, it disappeared and I thought there was maybe a problem with the BBS. I thought I saw another posting in another thread disappear as well.

Simon explained about removing the thread as it was a spoiler, but he didn't remove this thread too.

Maybe Simon could have mailed me instead to explain and then delete this thread as well ?

Anyway, sorry again if I spoilt anything for you.

Kevin.

I thought the BBC did a rather good job in producing a half hour programme within a few hours of the rally finishing today.

The bbc should of been giving the Rally much more coverage these passed few days. Yet again they get it wrong!

Can you understand that the BBC is not a sports channel and that in effect they are putting on a sport that may appeal to a relative minority compared to say football at prime time.

Question

Am I not right in thinking that the Rally of GB is the Biggest spectator sport in this country?

Yeah your right ..

even good old "aunty" said it was the biggest spectator event on the british sporting calendar ...

so why don't you give it better coverage BBC even Eurosport only managed 15 minutes

BBc might not be a sports channel, but they managed about 12hrs of live bowls coverage last week
