Hello.. Newbie saying hello
HI, I am Lynn, a 31 year old mum and complete car and bike nut.
I am currently Hunting for my first Scooby... Had a bit of a love hate relationship with them in the past.. Love the noise, hated the looks, but recently they have grown on me and out of a short list of 5 cars I have decided I have to get a STi... Will be a pre 97 one which I know are slightly less powerful but well.. more than the stupid alfa I currently have..
Before this I have had 2 nissan 200sx turbos, both s13's. One standard one not so ( was running nearly 300bhp)
But I have mostly had 1.8 metros, in various forms.. some vvc, some solid cammed..but all a hoot and very funny as simply a metro isnt meant to be that damned fast..Which is how I ended up where I am now...
I bought a metro and a vvc coupe with the intention of doing my last vvc conversion... but when I priced it up, I realised that I could afford to buy a ready made fast car..and may not kill myself if I happened to impact a tyre wall on a track day.... So after looking at all my options I decided to take the plunge and look for a scooby sti. Just got to sell the Blade now so I have the rest of the cash..
Thanks all..

My fastest metro was only about 168bhp but weighed about 795kg.. It did a 1/4 mile in 14.005 which wasnt to be sniffed at but traction is a real issue although a LSD helps greatly.
