Does it cost to sorn a car for 6 months or so
As above my terzo is having a rebuild and other bits and wont be needed for 6 months or so and the tax is due! Does it cost to sorn it and what do i do ?

You can SORN it online

Make sure you get a SORN confirmation letter within a month or so. I SORN'd my old porsche only to be given a fine, rang em up and they appologised and withdrew fine.

it wont cost you anything u can sorn it for up 2 one year all you need is your log book eg.. they will ask u for your long number off it i just took mine off the sorn register after it got nicked and repaired but i did it over the phone you can use your post office as well as the internet and had no probs taxing it straight after plus you dont have to ask them to un-sorn it they do this automatically
