prat andrew bennett
just saw on the local news about that noob head andrew bennett who was sent to prison today. basically he was driving a a scoob, uninsured, while banned from driving, under the influence of alcohol and cannabis, and crashed at 90mph into a tree. his girlfriend kirsty cash (17) was thrown through the windscreen of the car (not weariong a seatbelt) and recieved substantial injuries. the twist was as he was banned and didnt want to get it off the rozzers he refused to dial 999 and just took kirsty home, where she dies later from her injuries.
i dunno whether to laugh or cry at this comedy of errors...
oh and he could be released in 4 1/2 years of a life sentence if paroll is given. i believe kirsties dad was quoted as saying he would hang for what hes oing to do to andrew...
sad day for the already growing "chav" image of the classic subaru...

Yea heard about it on the radio today, what a total **** and it is always the innocent people who get hurt/killed. Lets hope his fellow prisoners were listening too and dish out some treatment of their own.

thing is i wonder if the lass knew he had been drinking, smoking bifters etc? did she involve herself in these activities beforehand? and remembering she didnt have a seatbelt on either
im not saying anything along the lines of "she deserved it", that would be cruel and wrong, but as someone who crashed a scoob (admittedly a sport ) while totally fine ie no booze etc, i know the belt saved my life...
i know what my conclusion is anyway...

Police now have the rights to Crush Cars that are not Taxed/MOT or Insured. They should sit Andrew Bennet back in it when it's being done

I like to see how he managed to drive the crashed scoob back to her home. normally any moderate frontal impact (20mph+) wrecks the cambelt/and or pulleys (being thrown through the windscreen would suggest a 20mph+ frontal impact). Unless he got somebody else to drive her back
Edit: rjust read the news. She was driven back in another car.
Sick f**k
I'd also have a few choice words to say to whoever else who was involved in taking back to her house instead of A&E

What's the ******* point in giving him a life sentance then?
