I've got the Subaru bars on my 2001 Saloon. They attach with the screwed on lugs that remain with the car when the bars are off.
Anyone come up with a better solution as they look crap but it's a real pain taking off the roof strips and undoing the lugs each time.
I don't take the lugs off because I use the roof bars regularly.

Anyone else got different bars that don't have this problem?
