True for a Grp A car, not quite as true for a Grp N car though

Well, it would seem that the pictures are of a Grp 'N' car being built, so unless your car looks like, and is built like that, then it's a country mile off being like a grp 'n' car.....

I havent read far enough to see whether its a Group A/N car or a WRC; but even lowly GpN cars are fully seam welded. If they werent they literally fall to pieces on a forest stage. It is a common misconception that GpN cars are standard, they arent, far from it.

Back to topic, The weight removed (seats, air con, door panels etc) will probally make it weigh less

HA!!! VT sports car rock... if you guys ever make it state side in to Vermont you should make an appt to meet these guys... i'm acually buying sti seats from these guys this winter for a decent price too... and an sti intercooler... even got to sit in the white camo DC gumball rally car... *DROOL* good guys down there and always willing to give a few pointers to people who are trying to make it into the rally buiz like me and the g/f
