Is it just me or does it really p*** you off when you do the old scooby nod/wave expecting the usual flash,wave, nod or mad jesture just to have the offending scoob driver turn his nose up at you!! oooh got right on my ****, thought I would let him off the fist time him being a young lad and all that (Beckhams hair with P diddys dress sence!) only to have the same jumped up little oik with his lexus lights (that makes him different doesn't it??) to diss me and my m8 in his lovely black STI5 an me in the STI2 as we drove past we gave him another wave/nod only to be laughed at again he was to Bad to pay us any respect homie!!! Manners cost nothing!!! even if you dont want to be any part of the scooby world, scoobynet etc a respectfull responce would of been expected!

Hope it breaks down on you chap and you have to pay through the nose for the repair becuase you don't know anyone else who can tell you sh*t about your scoob t**ser!

in my short time of owning a scoob, 4 months, one person has let on, all the others have had personality bypass's me finks !!!! one guy near me with a modded bugeye looks like a traffic cop, i pass him every day, he looks mega miserable and wears mirror'd sunglasses, even in the rain .......hhhmmmm !!!

If someone waves, I nod or wave back, but why's it such a big deal if someone doesn't? It's not like it was 9+ years ago when I bought my first Impreza Turbo; most didn't know what they were and there were so few around, you did actually feel you were in an exclusive club. There are now so many around... I'd rather concentrate on driving.

I picked up my first scoob today blew 30 quids worth of fuel cos i can't stop driving it and saw four other scoobs everybody waved including one on the M1.

I always wave at other Scoobs, and most of the time I get a response, but there are some out there who just don't seem to appreciate the car they are in. Sorry to anyone if you see me and I don't acknowledge you, it because I probably haven't seen you, but I alway make sure I wave if I do.

Haven't got too many Scoobs around here anyway,but have seen a few recently with holiday makers in them. Most of them wave back but occasionally you get one who will deliberately look at you with the "cold fish" eye. As you say its only good manners after all, but that seems to be disappearing anyway.

i used to wave and flash scoobies all the time and i was in my cosworth,9/10 times they would do the same and the race was on(all in good fun)i get it from the escort rst drivers, wave flash and nothing,too busy playing with themself cause they have a copy of MAX POO on the front seat.

Went into Cheshire last weekend and all six scoobies i spied waved back . All three shapes were present in that six so it appears that the scooby wave lives on from generation to generation.

Try driving a Legacy Turbo ...2 years, and 40,000miles of waving, and not a single response (other than a couple of "w@nker" signs, the odd middle finger salute, and a couple of confused double-takes).
I still raise a hand off the wheel3/4 times a day, but have given up on any of you impreza boys ever acknowledging anything else on the road!!

I've given up waving when I'm back in the UK- last time I did it (to an Impreza driver in front) he took it as some kind of road rage incident and proceeded to try and kill us both on the road.

I'm sticking to a policy of only waving at good looking female Impreza drivers from now on.

I don't want to seem churlish, and if somebody waves then I'll wave back, but isn't it a bit much to diss somebody just coz they don't understand why some total stranger is waving at them?

A lot of people just buy subarus coz they like the cars, not to opt in to some sort of unofficial owners club.

I wave like a nutter to all scoobies in my area since getting my MY00 2 months ago, but only had one wave back from a silver saloon!!!

The ones that dont wave just look theough you as if you dont exist, really p!ssing off.
