How much to reseal front windscreen?

I had this problem, to reseal it properly you need to get the windscreen taken out and in my case some paint work done under the seal to ensure the bodywork wouldn't rust. The window and seal then go back in. Problems is window may brake on the way out as its bonded so this could cost lots.
