Hi All,
This is the first post I've done since last December! Have you all missed me?...No...er, right.
Anyway, I had loads of plans for the New Year including rolling road with new exhaust for the Scoob, track days, even swimming for a healthy start! The result? I broke my right wrist in two places on New Years eve, (yes I was in case you ask).
So no driving my Scoob for six weeks, no swimming, no guitar noises and no....er, never mind that.
The cast comes off next Wednesday and if all is well I'm freeee If not, another cast for six weeks again (You'll know if this is the case as you will hear my agonised screams all over the UK).
Fingers crossed please.
blubs
ps. Shut yer face Geezer, in case you were not sympathising.

Before you all post replies stating your sympathies for Blubs, you should know that he has a bit of a history of falling over whilst p*ssed!

Blubs,
Sorry to hear about the accident. I managed to bust my wrist whilst mounting biking.
I ended up with a metal plate in my wrist as just plastering it would have been at least two months of my arm in pot. I must have been the last job before the pub though, as the scar they left is very messy.
Do tell us more though on how it happended....
Chris.

ChrisB,
If you really want to know, I slipped on spilt beer on a tiled floor at about 2am New Years morning!
Admittedly, I was slightly the worse for weather (who wasn't!). The problem was I didn't realise straight away that it was broken so I continued partying and even played my guitar for nearly two hours (big singsong thingy). I eventually retired to bed at 05.30, woke at 1pm and thought gracious, my wrist smarts.
The rest as they say, is history!
Anyway, 5days and counting.

ps Thanks for the sympathy Penni, Its good to be back.
pps Geezer. At least I wasn't guilty of the comment "I don't like beer much, it makes me feel sick after a couple of bottles" . Oh dear.
