Just for info - if any of you out there have a company car due for renewal with Dial Contracts they have 4-5 P1s currently available - but they are going quickly.

When I first asked them for a price - they said it didn't exist - but then phoned me back to say that they had them - but not on their main system.

Yex,

I am always wary of lease deals in the back of mags - £559 must be a very limited contract - A four year 20,000 miles pa full service contract (which is realistic for a business car) is around £530 for a Scooby and will be £700 for a P1.

This is from someone like Dial or Arriva.

Cool

Rannoch,

I'm with you on the advertising front, the mag's at home but from memory the details were a bit sketchy - always good to see exactly what you're getting in black and white.

Luckily my P1 is coming down the private purchase route, as I'm not self employed, but I have managed to get the monthly repayments under £400...just

Yex.....waiting patiently

Yex,

£400 for P1 - that's bloody good! How much you are putting down though? At what APR?

Asking because I am paying around £350 for a std UK Turbo (10% downpayment, 8.9% APR).

Let me know if you know of a better deal - I can still change the finance company.

Ta,

Cool

Subarussion,

I currently own a MY98 (August) with low mileage (16,000 at moment) and am trading it in unless I can sell it for the same value, £17,000. This will allow me to put down £6500 on the P1 price of £31,495. This ensures I fall into the rule 78 catagory(sp?) for finance purposes. I have agreed a balloon of £17,000 with my dealer (Lancaster Sevenoaks) and over 36 months the payments are £399 a month. I am not sure of the exact APR but think it is about 9.2%, and has been done with Subaru Finance. The dealer principal explained to me the way they calculate the APR and it is to do with the ballon at the end of the contract. The higher the balloon the lower the APR associated with the contract - someone correct me if I'm wrong

Anyway, that's how I've sorted my package all I have to do now is wait

Regards

Yex

Rannoch,

I pay £450 gross (which works out about the same net when you take the tax hit into account on my Firm's scheme with Arriva (now Interleasing) for a UK MY99 4 door.

£530 seems a bit steep.

Cheers

Scott
