Before I start this is not meant to be an attack at Directline insurance.

I renewed my car insurance with Directline for my RB5 in February for about £800. When I arranged this cover I checked THREE TIMES that this will cover trackdays. On all of these occasions I was told YES. I have spoken to the underwriters who confirmed this. I was very pleased. I contacted them today to get written confirmation of my cover as I have 4 track days planned later this year and I was told I was NOT COVERED. I have told others that Directline where (and still are) good for insuring scoobys and that they included track day cover in their policy as they classed it as a private road and I was not time trailing, racing, etc.

I am attempting to get this matter overturned and confirmed. I just wanted to let everyone who is insured with Directline who believed they had trackday cover to check again.

Rant over, I'll let everyone know the outcome.
