Injectors not big enough?
Had my car mapped last week. Mapper said everything went well apart from my injectors maxing out at 1.7 bar on v power making 650hp. The plan was to get used to the power for a couple of weeks then do a meth map at circa 2.1 bar n a race fuel map at 2.5 ready for totb. After speaking to the supplier of the injectors he assures me they are good for 840hp n that there must be another reason why there is a lack of fuel. Mapper said we could up the fpr n gain maybe 50hp with meth but said it’s not ideal n wouldn’t recommend. Injectors are asnu 1050cc. What do you guys think as I personally think the injectors are too small aswel as my mapper n everyone else I have spoke to apart from the supplier.

Injector Specs are Normally referenced to the Crank BHP and not Wheel HP. So if we said for talk sake Crank BHP to WHP is a 20% difference. Then 650+20% = 780Bhp at the crank, Leaving 60BHp if the car is alreay maxed out on Normal Fuel. So its bigger injector time by the looks of it.

Supposedly asnu rate their injectors at 70% flow. This being said they should be equivalent to circa 1300. Regardless of this I have maxed out at 1.7 bar after being told when I ordered 2000cc I'd injectors that asnu's offering would be better suited to my needs. In my eyes the supplier should stick by his advise n swap the 1050 for 1650 which is the biggest asnu offer.
