Help installing tegiwa brake stopper gc8
Guys looking for some help please.
Trying to install a Tegiwa brake stopper on a gc8 sti v3.
I managed to remove the bracket off the brake bias, however I am struggling to get the bolts in to the brake stopper.
One of the bolts is directly behind the brake bias and another fiddly one directly under the brake bias.
Just wondering if anyone has any tips how to fit it - I just cant see how I am going to get the bolts back in at this rate.
Thanks

Yes the new age install looks a lot easier. I will grab some pictures tomorrow and upload. Can’t believe how hard it is on the classics.
Anyone got any tips

So I have stripped all the require bolts off but weirdly the larger bolts do no fit in hole near the boost solenoid that holds the bar which runs across to put the actual stopper on. Removed the sticker as described (looks like it has never been peeled back before) to reveal a threaded hole but does not bite using the m6 nut.
Same with mounting plat that you put near brake reservoir. The m6 bolt does not want to bite on two of the holes closest to the firewall.
Anyone else experienced this issue?
I cant get a 12mm socket between the brake reservoir hard lines and the turret in order to put the middle m6 bolt in - nightmare - been at this days with no joy.
Any advice or help would be much appreciated from anyone that has done this before.

etOk ok so...…….
None of the tegiwa supplied bolts fitted the bolt on wing near the boost solenoid bracket. Had to use one of the 10mm boost solenoid bracket bolts. So that and stopper are now in place.
Next job is putting bolts on main plate which sits behind the brake bias. Any tips of getting bolts in as the socket does not fit past the hard brake lines for two bolts and one bolt is directly behind brake bias - impossible to get supplied bolt in.
Any tips would be good

I fitted one of these..a while ago mind.
I seem to remember wiggling it in then using a telescopic magnet and an open ended spanner, didn't do all the bolts tight until in place....it was a pain but didn't take days...

Basically I found the bolts supplied generally didn’t fit. I managed to get one bollt in and it is complexity solid. No movemen.
Will try to add more bolts when time allows. Thanks everyone for the help
