Default Been away for 4 years.... considering coming back

4 Years ago I sold my P1 (yes.... it's worth a lot more now!) and 4 years previous to that I sold my L Reg UK WRX.

I've had a Golf R for the last couple of years and looking for something different but keep finding myself looking at Imprezas...

I'm a bit out of touch these days with Spec C's, Type UKs, etc.

My question is, for £15k - £20k what would you buy / what should I look out for? I'm after something Hawkeye or later.

For that money you could get a new shape 2015+ WRX/STI and you'll love it. I have one now and it's the best Subaru I've owned to date.

15-20k beleive it or not Michael is what Good GC8 TYPE Rs are asking these days, however, you’ll also find a lovely Spec C with that budget.

Have a browse through their stock, bought my RA from them, great folks to deal with.

For the 20k budget you could get a 2015+ and then forge the engine giving you an excellent base for future power upgrades and then have peace of mind of reliability

Or you could make me an offer for mine, already forged and other things sorted too, and I'm sure there was only around 400 of this model ever bought to the UK.....

Have you actually driven one of these? It's very much a Subaru.

Absolutely stunning, reminds me of my old 60 plate in plasma blue. Same bottom line kit, fog covers, wheels and a forged lump. Was up for sale recently and considered buying it back. What's the full engine spec? What would you consider letting this go for? Pm me if you'd rather.
