be careful with any of the eBay ones as the one I brought ended up catching fire and nearly burned my car and garage with it ,,, jumped the car as normal and battery is behind the seat on this one and as it started I heard a pop so jumped out to grab it and see what was going on and it was already on fire , managed to get it out the car and onto my dolly and then sort of kicked it out the garage before I went up in the air like a firework ,, here is the damage to my dolly and what was left of the jump pack outside

do you connect to both terminals or do you connect the negative to an earthing point?

If you've ever looked at the battery wiring the negative terminal is connected to an earthing point next to the starter motor, giving the best all round continuity for starting.

Bought one......charged it up overnight........went to start car and it doesn't even try to turn it over.

Waste of money and time. I shall be returning it I think

I have had a boltpower d28 now for around 5 or so years and still works perfectly, my brother has had his slightly longer and a work friend has got 2 for each of his cars. we have all used them successfully to start our cars. it gets very good reviews, see what you think.

Sorry to hear that.
I used mine the day after I got it to start a high compression competition engine ( Cosworth) and it turned it over no bother.
Used it multiple times since.
Sounds like you have an issue with the charger.
