Default This should fit shouldn't it?

Hi all,

Just received a new alternator belt from ICP - Quick delivery by the way.
I've now realised that it doesn't state 2007 STi on the website, it just says "Fits Most Subaru 4 Cylinders"….I haven't tried fitting yet or even offered it up, but I hope it will fit ok?

Well, that belt isn't going on for love nor money. Spoke to a really helpful friendly chap at ICP just now.
He's agreed that I can post it back for a full refund.

Painfully close, but no go. Ah well, just how it is. Alternator was fully loose, bottoming out and still no joy.
That'll teach me to buy the wrong bits! lol

Great customer service from ICP I have to say.
I wonder if my current Dayco belt is stretching (less than a year old) or, I'm being too careful with the tension. Nipped it up again and will see how I go - I may have simply been leaving it too loose as was chirping in damp weather, I'd tighten it slightly, then all ok, then same a week later. I'm very cautious with things like that, as I don't want to toast bearings.

This time I might be ok. If not I will replace it.....for the right one!
